Firefighter - Mike Kuzmicki

Firefighter Mike Kuzmicki is a 25 year veteran of the fire service. As a firefighter with the Gurnee Fire Department he is assigned to Engine 22. He is currently working on his Bachelors Degree in Fire Service Administration through Southern Illinois University and currently holds an Associates Degree from Moraine Valley Community College in Fire Science. He is a Certified Instructor III, Fire Officer II, along with Director and Lead Instructor with the Southwest Suburban Fire Academy just outside Chicago and Instructor for Downers Grove Fire Academy. He has been a member of Lake County, IL Technical Rescue Team since 1999. Mike also assisted the authors of RICO by Delmar Publishing in support and was reviewer of text for publishing. He has also been instructing Rapid Intervention Company Operations since its inception at Downers Grove Fire Academy four years ago.
